Wheels and tyres are where looks, physics and safety meet. Doctor Auto Clinic supplies and fits forged wheels from Novitec, Vossen, HRE and BBS, and performance tyres including Pirelli P Zero, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S / Cup 2 and Continental SportContact for Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche — with alignment and balancing equipment suited to low, wide, expensive cars. Correct size, correct offset, correct manufacturer tyre code: that is the whole game.

Why do supercar tyres have special codes — and do they matter?

Yes, they matter directly to how the car handles. Many manufacturers homologate specific tyre constructions for their cars: N-codes for Porsche, MC for McLaren, and similar markings for other marques. The same model of tyre without the code can behave differently on the same car. When we quote tyres — P Zero, Pilot Sport 4S, Cup 2, SportContact — we match the exact spec your manufacturer intended, front and rear (most supercars run staggered sizes).

Forged vs cast wheels: what you are actually paying for

A forged wheel is pressed from a single billet of aluminium under enormous pressure, so the metal is denser, stronger and lighter than a cast wheel poured into a mould. Less unsprung weight means the suspension reacts faster and the car rides and turns better; higher strength means a pothole is less likely to end badly. Forged costs more, and on a supercar it is worth it. We fit Novitec, Vossen, HRE and BBS in specs measured to your exact car — diameter, width, offset (ET), PCD and, critically, clearance for big brake calipers.

Can you go up a wheel size safely?

Within limits, yes. The tyre’s overall rolling circumference must stay close to stock so the speedometer and electronics read true, the arches and calipers must clear through full suspension travel, and the load ratings must still be right. We calculate the correct plus-size spec rather than eyeballing it — the difference between a great stance and a car that grinds its arches is a few millimetres of math.

Fitting, balancing and alignment for low cars

After any wheel or tyre change the car needs precise balancing (to kill high-speed vibration) and a proper alignment — camber, toe and caster set to the manufacturer’s numbers — so it tracks straight, wears tyres evenly and steers accurately. Our equipment and ramps handle very low, wide cars without drama; scratched lips and scuffed splitters from careless tyre shops are exactly what owners come here to avoid.

Frequently asked questions

Is Pirelli P Zero the right tyre for my supercar?
Very often, yes — P Zero is original equipment on many supercars. The key is matching the exact homologated spec (including marque codes) for your model, which we check before quoting.

Forged or cast?
For a supercar: forged. Lighter, stronger, safer under impact, and the handling benefit of reduced unsprung weight is real. Cast is fine where budget rules.

Do you handle staggered fitments?
Yes — different front/rear sizes are standard on most cars we see, and we quote both axles to manufacturer spec.

Do I need alignment after new wheels?
Yes — balancing kills vibration and alignment protects steering accuracy and tyre life, especially at the speeds these cars run. We do both in-house with supercar-appropriate equipment.

How much do wheels and tyres cost?
It depends on brand, size, forged vs cast and the tyre model — and most cars need different sizes front and rear. Send your model on LINE for an exact quote, free.
