Getting a supercar’s stance and handling right is a suspension job, not a guess. Doctor Auto Clinic installs and sets up coilovers and performance dampers from KW, Öhlins, Bilstein and Novitec for Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Porsche, Aston Martin and Bentley — ride height balanced front to rear, damping matched to how you drive, nose-lift systems for Bangkok’s ramps and bridges, and a full alignment afterwards. Low and beautiful, but still usable and safe: that is the brief.

What is a coilover, and why fit one to a supercar?

A coilover combines spring and damper in one threaded unit, so ride height is adjustable — and on most quality kits, damping stiffness too. That lets an owner choose both the exact stance and the chassis character they want, from compliant touring to track-taut. A well-chosen, well-set kit reduces body roll, adds cornering confidence and visibly transforms how the car sits over its wheels.

Which suspension brands do we fit?

KW for its range of model-specific kits and quality of adjustment; Öhlins for damping sophistication; Bilstein for robust performance value; and Novitec for kits engineered specifically around Lamborghini, Ferrari and McLaren. We also fit and integrate front-lift (nose lift) systems so a lowered car can still climb ramps and speed bumps in real Thai traffic. The right choice depends on the car’s weight, geometry and your use — we advise per car, not per catalogue.

How we install and set up a suspension properly

  1. Assess and choose the kit — model, usage and the ride height you want.
  2. Install — fitted by technicians who know exotic chassis structures, with your original parts kept and returned.
  3. Set ride height — front/rear balance set for both look and function.
  4. Full alignment — camber and toe reset so tyres wear evenly and the car tracks straight.
  5. Road test and fine-tune — damping and height adjusted until it is genuinely right.

Why supercar suspension needs a specialist

Exotics run sensitive suspension geometry, unusual weight distribution and, on many models, electronic or magnetic damping that must be understood before anything is modified. Lowering a car the wrong way delivers rubbing tyres, a scraping nose and a chassis that gets nervous at speed. Done right, you get the look without losing the car’s usability — and everything can be returned to stock, because we keep the original parts for you.

Frequently asked questions

Will my lowered supercar scrape everywhere in Bangkok?
Not if the height is chosen sensibly and a nose-lift system is fitted or retained. We set cars up for the roads you actually drive, and many owners daily their lowered cars without drama.

Do I need an alignment after coilovers?
Yes, always — changing ride height changes camber and toe. We realign after every suspension job so tyres last and the car steers true.

Will it hurt the warranty or resale?
We fit kits that are fully reversible and keep your original suspension, so the car can be returned to factory condition at any time.

Can you work on electronically-damped cars?
Yes — we work with the electronic and magnetic damping systems on modern exotics regularly and choose kits that integrate correctly.

What does a coilover install cost?
It depends on the car, the brand and whether a front-lift is included, plus installation and alignment. Message the model and your goal on LINE for a free, specific quote.
