A supercar exhaust upgrade is the fastest way to transform how an exotic sounds, responds and even looks from behind. Doctor Auto Clinic supplies and installs genuine performance exhaust systems from the world’s leading brands — Capristo, RYFT, Novitec, Fi Exhaust and Akrapovič — for Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Porsche, and we tune the ECU on our dyno so the whole system works together properly. We do not just bolt on a pipe and hand back the keys.

What does a performance exhaust actually do?

It lets exhaust gas flow with less restriction, reducing back pressure so the engine breathes better — which shows up as more usable power and torque, less weight (dramatically so with titanium), and a far more engaging sound. Most premium systems include valvetronic control, so the car stays civilised in town and opens up fully when you want it to. It is the one modification that improves performance and emotion at the same time.

Which exhaust brand suits which car?

Each brand has its own character. Capristo is known for its valve control systems and beautiful fabrication. RYFT and Fi Exhaust lead the titanium, sharp-toned segment — RYFT is practically the default choice among McLaren owners here. Novitec offers complete integrated packages for Lamborghini and McLaren, and Akrapovič is famous for materials and weight savings. We help you choose based on your model, the sound you want and your budget — and we guarantee the fit.

Is titanium worth the extra money?

If you care about the last word in performance and presentation — yes. Titanium is significantly lighter than stainless steel, highly heat- and corrosion-resistant, gives a sharper, more exotic tone, and the tips take on that blue-purple heat colouring people love. If your priority is a great sound at a sensible price, a high-grade stainless system is an excellent alternative. We will tell you honestly which your car and usage justify.

Do you need an ECU tune with a new exhaust?

Usually, yes — and ideally at the same time. Changing exhaust flow changes what the engine wants for fuelling and ignition, so a dyno tune alongside the install extracts the full gain and keeps the engine safe. Because the dyno is in-house, exhaust and tune happen in one visit with a measured before/after result.

Pricing, warranty and legality

Price depends on brand, material (stainless vs titanium), your model, and whether it is a cat-back or full system — the difference between those two is large. Everything we sell is genuine, carries the manufacturer’s warranty, and our installation work is guaranteed: correct fit, no leaks, no rattles. Valved systems keep the car quiet enough for everyday Bangkok driving, and we advise on settings that keep it road-appropriate.

Frequently asked questions

Does an aftermarket exhaust really add power?
Yes, measurably — reduced back pressure lets the engine breathe, and with an ECU tune on the dyno the gain in horsepower and torque is clearly visible on the graph. The amount depends on the model and supporting mods.

Which is the best exhaust for a Ferrari or Lamborghini?
There is no single best — it depends on the model and the tone you want. Capristo for valve refinement, RYFT/Fi for sharp titanium, Novitec for a complete integrated package. We will match one to your car.

Will it be too loud for daily use?
Premium systems are valved: quiet mode for town, full voice on demand. We set them up so the car remains usable every day.

Are the systems genuine?
Yes — genuine products from authorised sources with the manufacturer’s warranty, plus our own installation guarantee.
