Looking for a car paint shop in Bangkok you can actually trust with a supercar or premium European car? Doctor Auto Clinic handles everything from spot repair of a scratched panel to major collision repair and full colour-change resprays — all sprayed and baked in a dust- and temperature-controlled booth built for luxury cars. We match paint to the original factory colour code, handle luxury-car insurance claims end-to-end, and regularly work on Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche and Aston Martin.

Why is supercar paint work harder than ordinary body work?
Because almost everything about an exotic fights back: body panels are often carbon fibre or aluminium and need specific fillers, primers and techniques; factory colours are frequently metallic, three-stage or matte finishes that are genuinely difficult to mix and blend; and the car is covered in aero parts and sensors that must be removed and refitted with care. A small mistake on a normal car is an annoyance — on a supercar it destroys real value. That is why this work belongs in a specialist shop, not a general garage.

Our paint and body repair process
Every job follows the same disciplined sequence so the new paint blends invisibly and lasts:
- Assessment & disassembly — inspect the damage, photograph everything for insurance, and remove bumpers, aero parts and lights around the repair area.
- Panel straightening — pull and reshape the body back to factory geometry; heavy collision work goes on the frame bench with body measurements.
- Filling & surfacing — fill and sand until the surface is perfectly true before any paint goes on.
- Colour matching — mix against the factory paint code and test-spray on sample cards next to the actual car.
- Booth spraying & baking — primer, base coat and clear coat, cured at controlled temperature in the booth.
- Polishing & reassembly — cut out orange peel, polish to a deep gloss, refit every part and run a final quality check.

Spot repair or full respray — which does your car need?
A spot repair is the right call for scratches, small dents or damage confined to one or two panels: it costs less and preserves most of the original factory paint, which matters for resale. A full respray makes sense when paint has degraded across the whole car, when there is damage in many places, or when you want a colour change. We assess the car honestly and recommend whichever option protects its value best — we do not upsell a respray that a blend would solve.
Materials and standards we work to
We use refinish systems built for European luxury cars — primer, base and clear coat grades chosen for UV and chemical resistance and long-term gloss retention. Spraying happens only inside the booth, with dust and temperature under control, which is the single biggest factor separating a flawless finish from a mediocre one. After painting we can protect the fresh surface with ceramic coating or paint protection film (PPF) so it stays that way.

Can you claim the repair on your Thai insurance?
In most cases, yes — and we do the paperwork for you. We handle luxury-car insurance claims end-to-end: assessing the damage, documenting it with photos, negotiating with the insurance company and delivering the finished car. For foreign owners unfamiliar with Thai insurers and Thai-language claim forms this is usually the part they appreciate most. Our paint work carries a workmanship guarantee; conditions depend on the type of job and are confirmed before work starts.
How much does supercar paint work cost in Thailand, and how long does it take?
Price and lead time depend on the model, the area to be painted, the paint type (solid, metallic or special colours) and the actual damage. A spot repair can be done in days; a full respray or heavy collision job that needs imported parts takes longer. We quote each job individually after seeing the car or photos — there is no flat-rate menu, because no two damaged supercars are the same. The assessment and quote are free.

Frequently asked questions
Will the new paint match the factory colour exactly?
Yes. We mix against the factory colour code of your specific car — including metallic, three-stage and matte finishes — and test-spray on sample panels against the body before committing. The repair should be invisible.
Can you repair carbon fibre panels?
Yes — carbon and aluminium panels are routine here, using the appropriate materials and techniques for each substrate rather than steel-car methods.
Do you handle the insurance company for me?
Yes, end-to-end: assessment, photo evidence, liaison with the insurer, repair and handover. You do not need to manage Thai-language paperwork yourself.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes — our paint work carries a workmanship guarantee, with conditions confirmed per job before we start.
